Making the Christmas Turkey

Noah helped make the bird we stuffed and buttered and seasoned the poor thing we were both grossed out at all the blood in the middle we dumped it in the sink and we were both cracking up we tried to get the plastic things off its legs that was pretty funny too we laughed and laughed and couldn't figure out where the giblets and heart were the neck was pretty gross it made Noah sick he is such a nut he worked hard spreading the butter on the bird he was pretty proud of us so was I!!!
This was my very first turkey and kind of by accident granma was going to do it but made me instead last minute very last minute... I wasn't totally prepared so thank goodness fresh and easy had most of what I needed I got a roasting pan but forgot the turkey baster that was crappy I tried to do it with a spoon and i didn't work to well. The turkey was a little dry but still good good flavor We stuffed it with lemons and onions and rosemary yummy and I did cook the giblets in the bird I finally found them when I was carving it. My mom laughed and said that's why they wrap them in parchment :) well now I know
